Seeing the breath as the physical presence of the Holy Spirit, we bring our attention to our inhale, letting if be exactly as it is. We witness and bring 100% of our attention to the breath entering and leaving the body, for five full breaths..
So attuned, we allow on the inhale to receive, and on the exhale, to allow release.
Dear God, I receive your Holy Spirit.
allowing your breath to fill and inform me
(on inhale) I receive your love,
(exhale) and release my fear
I receive your joy,
and release my illusions
I receive your peace,
and release my anxiety
I receive your patience,
and release my impatience
I receive your kindness,
and release my suffering
I receive your Truth,
and release my judgment
I receive your gentleness,
and release my hurt
I receive your love,
and release my hatred
Amen
